RALEIGH - One of two new 2017 Ford F 550 / Knapheide / UPF / Foam Pro 250/250/10. Assigned to Squad 14 (shown) and Squad 7. With Squad 7’s older, similar mini-pumper replacing one at Station 28. Placed in service on 2/22 (Sta 14) and 2/23 (Sta 7).
Used for grass fires, woods fires, parking deck vehicle fires, storm and inclement weather response, and pulling boat trailers for water rescues.
Replaced a pair of 1986 Chevy brush trucks.
